Your Guide to Internet Slang for Latter-day Saints

You may know your LOLs and your BRBs, but I’m sure you didn’t know most of these internet abbreviations especially for Latter-day Saints. Here’s a list of abbreviations to text your friends or use on the interwebs to be hip or keep up with those cool youth of Zion:

  1. AICTP – And it came to pass
  2. RLFS – Running late for seminary
  3. VVISUY – Verily, verily I say unto you
  4. FTB – Forgot the bread
  5. MI – Ministering interview
  6. AOTS – Asleep on the stand
  7. CFM – Come, Follow Me
  8. CMM – Consider me ministered
  9. NAC – Need a casserole
  10. MMASD – Meet me at the stake dance
  11. DIAT – Dwelt in a tent
  12. ATMTCH – Ask the Missionaries, they can help.
  13. LUTR – Limited use temple recommend
  14. TM – Tender Mercies
  15. HOCTTTF – Hearts of the children will turn to their fathers
  16. JWMFAS – Jesus wants me for a sunbeam
  17. MYC – Magnify your calling
  18. TIFS – Tomorrow is Fast Sunday
  19. DFBYC – Don’t forget BYC
  20. FFSAC – Forgot Fast Sunday. Ate cereal.
  21. WOTLSW – Who’s on the Lord’s side, who?
  22. NOFSF – “Not on Fast Sunday” fast
  23. NASOB – Nourish and Strengthen Our Bodies
  24. DBSAL – Don’t be such a Lemuel
  25. OTWAS – Once there was a snowman
  26. AOE – Appearance of evil
  27. RBOCW – Round ball of curious workmanship
  28. BOGP – Born of Goodly Parents
  29. FFNA – Finished First Nephi Again
  30. AFBP – Another funeral. Bring potatoes.
  31. FHIADI – Family History. I am doing it!
  32. GCAC – General Conference and chill.
  33. GAGCB – Got a General Conference Bingo!
  34. ILD – In lovely Deseret
  35. IUFA – Insert: Uchtdorf flying analogy.
  36. GFTMWR – Grateful for the moisture we’ve received.
  37. SS – Sweet Spirit
  38. NHOA – No harm or accident
  39. FSB – Fast Sunday breath
  40. DSMSCOJCOLS – Don’t Say Mormon, Say Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
